'Coastal Curiosities' Framed Collections
Each curiosity frame is a one of a kind collection of coastal treasures. The items are hand picked from South West shores, meticulously arranged, named and numbered to produce a museum-worthy display of the species which dwell beneath the waves.
Curiosity frames are handmade from my Devon studio in small batches and are made available a few times a year. Follow my socials for updates and sneak peeks ahead of each release.
If you would like a custom frame, using your own beachcombed collection, or items from mine, then get in touch! I have a range of examples from previous colours, styles and arrangements on my social media accounts.

Packaging
Every order arrives plastic-free, packed in recyclable and biodegradable materials so nothing ends up in landfill (or the ocean) after the unboxing. As someone painting Britain's wildlife, it matters to me that my packaging doesn't harm it. Boxes are recyclable, sourced from ethical supplier Priory Direct, and sealed with paper tape rather than plastic. Belly bands, thank you slips, business cards and stickers are all printed at home on recycled paper and card, so nothing extra is manufactured or shipped in. It's a small thing, but I want the experience of opening your order to feel as considered as what's inside it.

Product Materials
I choose environmentally-friendly and ethical materials in my products wherever possible, with organic cotton used for all of my textiles and a blend of hemp and recycled paper for all of my art prints. Products are made to last, too — I choose premium materials like fine bone china for my mugs and panama weave for my totes and tea towels. Every item I sell is made or printed in the UK to reduce carbon emissions and support local businesses. Art prints are made to order and other products are created in small batches to reduce overproduction and potential waste.

Charities & Conservation
I often link specific products or entire design ranges to wildlife charities and donate a percentage from each sale. Most recently, I donated £100 to the Wildlife Trusts by setting aside a few pounds from every curiosity frame order, thank you to everyone who ordered one for making that possible! You'll find the details of each partnership at the bottom of the relevant product listing so check those out as you browse. I am always looking for new ways to support those caring for our local habitats and the species that live within them. Get in touch if you're interested in a future collaboration!
Meet Sophie.....
Hello, I'm an artist based in Devon, My work is inspired by time spent outdoors, whether I'm combing the shoreline for sea-worn treasures, wandering through woodlands on the hunt for mushrooms or lying beneath the night sky watching stars fall. Every piece is inspired by one of these magical experiences and the sketching and painting quickly follows! From beachcombed finds to botanical studies and starlit scenes, each design is rooted in nature and made with love for the wild places and creatures I encounter.
